  3. mtb416 Says:

@JaoGT Of course those who try to explain this like to say, “Those are more reliable than Jeeps are” and all that yada yada yada mess. The truth is it comes down to parts supply. The UK slept with and conquered nearly the entire world & thusly have trade with them that goes far back. Toyota is Asian, which in the past was the cheapest, and they ran them due to price. Much cheaper stripped-down cruisers were sold, they’re not all 70k like in the States. It’s all about part supply, not performance

  4. deeppers69 Says:

Jeep! Make this for the US!!!
People will buy it! We need a true diesel off-road machine that can get decent MPGs.

  5. Caleb0014 Says:

It amazes me that they have a product that is production ready and people are begging for in a poor economy, yet they won’t sell it. – Idiots

  10. tommy35ss Says:

@smileynirvana2 it’s because they’re truck body-on-frame designs that usually come from a truck, such as a Chevrolet Suburban and Silverado

  14. ISinisterI Says:

jeep even f’n discontinued there 3.0 litre diesel in the grand cherokee…wtf are they doing?

everyone in North America is itching for a diesel wrangler…give it to us already..how hard can it be to offer this engine/powertrain when it is already developed? why should i have to go to AEV for this option?

if i ran chrysler i would chop off all of higher managements heads, grind and liquify their fat filled brains into diesel and burn them in new diesel powered jeeps.

  15. TheJeephistorian Says:

Hey Ralph, you need to make an American ***Diesel Engine Option*** in all Jeep models here in the USA !!!

  16. smileynirvana2 Says:

in differant parts of the country people call suvs trucks and real trucks are called pick ups. down south they call pepsi “coke” too. dont try and understand it, i never bothered.

  17. chili4x4 Says:

its too bad that jeep/chrysler thinks that all americans live in the city.. a “robust vehicle” like this would be a perfect addition to my garage. Just remember.. Build it and they will come… !!! Oh yeah.. bring it with a damn diesel too …

  18. Righty736 Says:
