(OBAMA MOTORS) Ken Spooner’s IF THE DEVIL DANCED IN EMPTY POCKETS 2009

Monday, May 24th, 2010

OBAMA MOTORS HAD A HELL OF A SALE, DOWNTOWN YESTERDAY ………. www.spoonercentral.com More Info about this song Click Here! This 2009 parody of 20 year old song, that was a Number 1 hit record in America, Canada and recorded internationally (you should hear it sung in Norwegian) still rings with as much truth, and tongue in cheek good humor, as it did when Joe Diffie sat on the top of the country charts with it in 1991. It is now perhaps even more universal, because so many more folks are in the same boat I was in, when I first wrote about trying to finance a new car to replace my worn out 76 Chrysler Cordoba. Some friends of mine quipped upon first reading the opening of the new lyric Gee, I thought Obama was your guy ?, I answered back, You Know He Is … but when the President himself told Steve Kroft on 60 Minutes, Sometimes a little gallows humor, helps you cope with some very serious issues, I thought, perhaps its time for If The Devil …. to dance again. When the White House announcement came about decisions made for GM and Chrysler, Obama Motors was born along with the rest of the new lyrics and a reprise of a real happy tune! Best Wishes To Everyone Ken Spooner PS. Mike Barnicle smacks down a Conservative douche-bag pundit on the economy, General Motors

DETROIT — General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC have held preliminary talks about a merger or an acquisition of Chrysler by GM, according to published reports. The Wall Street Journal, citing people it described as familiar with the discussions, reported that Cerberus Capital Management, the private equity firm that owns 80.1 percent of Chrysler and 51 percent of GMAC Financial Services, proposed trading Chrysler’s automotive operations to GM. The Journal said Cerberus would receive GM’s remaining 49 percent stake in GMAC. The New York Times, also citing people familiar with the talks, reported that the automakers were discussing a merger. The Times did not mention GMAC. GMAC, primarily an auto lender, also has significant mortgage lending operations that have been hit hard by the crisis in that industry. The talks have stalled because of the recent turmoil in the financial markets, according to the Journal. Its sources said negotiations could resume if markets stabilize because both GM and Cerberus want to quickly divest the assets under discussion. The negotiations between 100-year-old GM and 83-year-old Chrysler began more than a month ago, according to the Times. Its sources said the chances of a merger were “50-50″ as of Friday and likely would take weeks to complete. Both newspapers posted their stories on their Web sites late Friday. “Without referencing this specific rumor, as we’ve often said, GM officials routinely discuss issues of mutual interest with other

Toyota Recall – Government Motors exploits

Toyota announce one day a massive recall, the very next day General Motors is airing on television commercials exploiting the recall. Coincidental? Hmmmmm? Chrysler and General Motors are basically owned by the US government which is currently controlled by the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party and the Obama administrating beholding to the unions. The United Auto Workers union has Toyota in their cross-hairs because Toyota factories in the United States are not unionized. This contributes to two reasons the Democrats in Congress are exploiting the Toyota recall. Toyota is a Government Motors competitor, and to please the United Auto Workers union. This is nothing but exploitation by the Democrats and the UAW. Toyota’s President Akio Toyoda and Toyotas chief executive of North America Yoshimi Inaba have been called before Congress. This is an attempt to increase the sales of General Motors and Chrysler automobiles while hurting Toyota sales. According to the following website: auto-recalls.justia.com American made automobiles have more recall incidents than Toyota. Yet the Democrats are show-boating Toyota. It stinks. Toyota produces reliable automobiles and Japan and Toyota are owed an apology for this shameful attack upon their honor by the Obama Administration and the Democratic Party.
